Our Story
The Beaconsfield Online Access Centre (BOAC) is a volunteer-based charity that has supported the Beaconsfield community for more than 25 years.
When BOAC began, our focus was on providing access to computers and the internet. While access remains important, our purpose has evolved. Today, many people own their own devices but still need confidence, skills and support to navigate a digital world.
As essential services such as health, banking and government continue to move online, BOAC plays a vital role in digital inclusion within our community. We provide a trusted, place where people can learn, ask questions and receive support without judgement.
BOAC now focuses on hands-on, practical support — helping people use technology safely, overcome digital anxiety and build everyday digital skills in a welcoming setting.
Our Vision
To be an inclusive community where everyone can engage safely in the digital world.
